  • О VIRUSNET. MISSION AND GOALS.

    Association mission:
    • Pooling resources and specialists, that provide malware removal services to users, to create a united front in the fight against information threats on the RuNet.

      At the originsVIRUSNET there was a small group of consultants as part of Internet resources:
      Association dynamically developing, providing high-quality and free assistance to users in the fight against malware and its consequences on an increasing number of Internet resources, including as individual specialists of the Internet community, and Internet resources, specializing in the provision of computer and network security services.


    The main goals of VIRUSNET are:
    • Qualitative, fast and free assistance in removing malware and the consequences of its activities;
    • Using and recommending antivirus products to users without bias or personal preferences of the consultant;
    • Standardizing approaches to care;
    • Training users in the basics of treating personal computer malware.


    VIRUSNET Member Code of Conduct:
    • Do not violate applicable intellectual property rights or other rights of others.
    • Do not use, do not recommend or promote the production and distribution of malware.
    • Do not violate or encourage violation of the legislation of the member’s country of residence Associations and international legislation in any form.
    • Do not transfer information to third parties, received as part of work inAssociations (unless this is a requirement of the authorities entitled to do so as specified in the legislation of the member’s country of residenceAssociations).

  • CONDITIONS FOR JOINING THE VIRUSNET ASSOCIATION.

    General requirements for membership in VIRUSNET:
    • Candidates can provide assistance in the fight against malware and its consequences independently on the appropriate Internet resources, and as an active participant in the Internet resource – memberVIRUSNET.
    • The candidate must not violate the Criminal Code, as well as intellectual property rights.
    • Candidate, by submitting an application, expresses unconditional agreement to comply with the requirementsConstitution of VIRUSNET.


    VIRUSNET Membership Requirements, requirements for Internet resources:
    • The online resource provides assistance in the fight against malware and the consequences of its activities.for free.
    • There are no advertising or other materials on the Internet resource, contrary to law, misleading or intrusive to users.
    • The Internet resource is on paid hosting (since on free hosting it is possible to place advertisements without the knowledge of the resource administration).
    • There is at least one Internet resource (1) year and/or recommended by administrators of three (3) other Internet resources of membersVIRUSNET.
    • The Internet resource must have a user assistance system, if there is none, a representative of an online resource can ask for help in organizing and setting up a system for providing assistance withUnion program.
    • The resource undertakes to implement all requirements as soon as possible, which he presentsAssociation for all new members.
    • A closed vote will be held for each Internet resource., based on the results of which a decision will be made to admit the candidate toAssociation.

      Administrators of Internet resources are responsible for the presence in the resource rules of clauses prohibiting the presence of materials that contradict the law and links to them, compliance with the rules of conduct by users on their sites. The content of Internet resources will be periodically reviewed by representativesSupervisory Board orCouncil of the VIRUSNET Founders Association, to ensure complianceConstitution of VIRUSNET. Audit frequency: 6-9 months or earlier, if complaints are received about the resource.

      • If a resource violates the rules of the Association in the course of its activities, then he will be expelled from the Association.
      • The person who discovers a violation must submit a complaint for consideration by the Association Council in the manner prescribed below.


    Requirements for VIRUSNET personal members.
    • Any candidate must provide free assistance to users in the fight against malware.
    • The candidate is required to provide:
      • Recommendations from three (3) other personal membersVIRUSNET.
      • Indicate the name and location of the school, where he was trained and (or) certification. Application by the candidate, who has not yet completed full training or practice, will not be considered until its end.
      • Candidate, who were trained outsideAssociations, will have to take a test to confirm their level of knowledge.
      • A closed vote will be held for each candidate., based on the results of which a decision will be made to admit the candidate toAssociation.

  • INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF THE VIRUSNET ASSOCIATION.

    • Any element, which allows you to identifyAssociation (logo, button, Name, slogan, etc.) is the propertyAssociations.
    • Any developments (programs, utilities, instructions, etc.), created withinAssociations, are the propertyAssociations(unless otherwise stated in the copyright).
    • Submitted an application, resource or user, not included inAssociation, may obtain permission to use intellectual propertyAssociations.

  • RULES FOR USE OF THE ASSOCIATION EMBLEM.

    • Internet resources only, listed onthis page have the right to place a logoVIRUSNET on their pages.
    • Visual elementsAssociations are not allowed used to attract funding for a resource in exchange for helping users.
    • Individual members onlyVIRUSNET, listed onthis page, have the right to place a logo in the description of their personal data, status and signature on various Internet resources.
    • The logo may contain a hyperlink to the list of Internet resources of membersVIRUSNET or a list of individual membersVIRUSNET.
    • Logo or bannerVIRUSNET, posted on an Internet resource or in a user signature, symbolizes that, that those who ask for help will receive quality, fast and selfless assistance from specialists in treating malware infection.

  • PRINCIPLE FOR RECEIVING COMPLAINTS VIRUSNET.

    • If an individual or Internet resource is a memberVIRUSNET suspected of violationConstitution of VIRUSNET, the justification must be submitted to the council representativeVIRUSNET.
    • The complaint must contain a link to a specific section(y) Constitution of VIRUSNET, which(is) was(and) disturbed(y); describe actions, who violated certain sections(y), along with the date(given) violation(so), references to violation(has). If possible, the complaint must contain references to the facts of violation, and if this is not possible, then screenshots, where the fact and location of the alleged violation can be easily understood.
    • Association Council will review the complaint and provide a response within three weeks or less. When, IfCouncil agrees with the complaint, individual memberVIRUSNET or an Internet resource administrator memberVIRUSNET a warning will be sent fromCouncil. The warning will include a reasonable time frame for response.. If the violation is not corrected in a timely manner, individual memberVIRUSNET or Internet resource memberVIRUSNET will be excluded fromAssociations.
    • VIRUSNET Advice reserves the right to refuse admission to a candidateVIRUSNET even if all requirements are met, without specifying reasons.

  • WITHDRAWAL FROM THE ASSOCIATION

    There are several reasons for this:
    • violation of the Statute;
    • personal request from a personal member or Internet resource of a member of the Association.
    • loss of qualifications – termination of assistance to users (break more 1 calendar year)
    • lack of activity on the association’s resources during the year – for members who did not provide assistance to users

    Upon leaving the Association, the former member loses the right to use any element, allowing to identify the Association, and will be removed from the corresponding list. The exclusion and the reasons for it will be reported in the appropriate topic in the public domain on the Association’s resource.
    The former member loses the right to use the Association's intellectual property. To get this right again, you need to submit an application for consideration by the Supervisory Board of the Association.
