Avast released decryptor for decryption after Babuk ransomware.

Czech cybersecurity software company Avast has created and released a decryption tool, to help Babuk ransomware victims recover their files for free.

According toAvast Threat Labs , Babuk decryptor was created using leaked source code and decryption keys.

Free decryptor can be used by Babuk victims, whose files are encrypted using the following extensions: .dust, .babyk, .debate.
Babuk ransomware victims maydownload decryption tool from Avast servers and immediately decrypt entire partitions, using instructions, displayed in the decryptor user interface.

Judging by BleepingComputer tests, this decoder, more likely, will only work for victims, whose keys were leaked as part of the Babuk source code dump.
